THEBAULT INGENIERIE awarded the contract to build a factory for BRIOCHES FONTENEAU in l’Herbergement (Vendée)

THEBAULT INGENIERIE, which specialises in the design and construction of turnkey projects involving food factories, will be working with BRIOCHES FONTENEAU on the construction of their production site. This project, which covers more than 4300 m² will require a year of work. The first sods are due to be dug after the summer holidays.
A specialist in brioches
BRIOCHES FONTENEAU has stood out for more than 40 years in the manufacture of brioches and pastries. Since its creation, the firm has been based in Vendée, from where it distributes its products across France and abroad. One of the specialties, which has given it its reputation is of course the Brioche Vendéenne, other wise known as the gâche in French, which continues a traditional recipe dating back to the Middle Ages.
A new manufacturing unit
With its business constantly growing, the firm required a new production unit. BRIOCHES FONTENEAU currently has two factories, both in Vendée, but their production capacity has practically been reached. This latest project is also aimed at developing new products.
Design and construction by THEBAULT INGENIERIE
BRIOCHES FONTENEAU entrusted THEBAULT INGENIERIE with the design and construction of its new industrial, project. Their teams worked alongside the firm on their initial reflections, before providing the complete design of this food factory. The site managers at THEBAULT INGENIERIE are now preparing for the construction of this project.
12 months of work
The first sods will be dug after the summer break. It will require twelve months of work to erect this production unit covering more than 4300 m². The building will include a large manufacturing area covering more than 2000m², a storage area for raw materials, another one for finished products and a third for pallets. Equipment and maintenance areas and staff facilities are also included in this project.
